After 20 or so years weekly meetings as Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader, I decided to take a break.

I play the trumpet in several musical groups: Windblown, a quintet based in Red Lake Falls; Northland Community College at Thief River Falls, concert band and jazz band; and University of Minnesota at Crookston jazz band.

Prior to moving to Minnesota, I played in several Kentucky musical groups: Heartland Winds, Nelson County Community Band, and Bourbon City Brass Band.
